Meet the Team

Chris Holder is a pastor and soul care provider in Dallas, Texas with a passion for serving his diverse community and making a real difference in the lives of others. What started as advice from a friend to “hug your cactus” became the theme of his doctoral thesis-project. He has been hugging his cactus ever since and encouraging others to do the same. Hope you find these resources helpful in your own journey!

Will Kemp is a pastor at Tangible Grace Fellowship and soul care provider in Allen, Texas. He enjoys reading and nerding out on just about anything from ancient church fathers to fantasy football. He has three amazing and rambunctious boys—David, Aaron, & Josh (the last two are identical twins)—and an incredible and supportive wife, Heather.

He has a passion to reenchant our disenchanted world, to see the world with wonder and hope. Yet, our world is full of thorns and prickly people, so our hope must always be measured against the messiness and brokenness of this world. Will has learned to “hug his cactus” particularly by allowing the Enneagram, the twelve steps, and contemplative prayer to do surgery on his soul. It’s sometimes painful, but always beautiful and always freeing. I pray you join us on the journey. Let’s “hug our cactus” and journey into the wilderness together!
